18th August 2020 – Isuzu UK is hosting its second virtual show of the season - the Summer Show by Isuzu - bringing all the fun of a county show, safely, and without the mud.  This 45 minute show offers entertainment and information that appeals to farmers, families and outdoor enthusiasts as the jam packed programme includes vehicle walk-arounds, towing tips and off-road challenges.  Plus, some exclusive interviews and celebrity guests.

Events season hasn’t gone to plan this year as several shows had to be cancelled but the Pick-Up Professionals at Isuzu haven’t let that stop them.  Normally they would be surrounded by people and animals at the Great Yorkshire Show in Harrogate but, instead, Isuzu set up their socially distanced stand to film a virtual event as the only exhibitors at the showground.

Appealing to visitors who attend actual summer shows, the Summer Show by Isuzu is split into three general interest sections: Agriculture, Towing and Adventure.

The Isuzu stand displays the full range of D-Max pick-ups and viewers can look around some very different Isuzu D-Max vehicles and accessories that are perfectly suited to agriculture and outdoor activities.  Then, for the next-generation of aspiring farmers, an exclusive mini episode of YouTube’s extremely popular family show Tractor Ted will be screened.

Towing is a weighty topic for pick-up owners as over 90% of D-Max are sold with a tow bar.  Geared towards novice towers and helping the more experienced brush up on their skills, some top towing tips and discussions are on offer from the National Trailer and Towing Association (NTTA) and pro-driver Jason Sharpe.  This advice will then be put to the test when Welsh Rugby Union stars, Alun Wyn Jones and Josh Navidi, attempt a very tricky towing challenge... The Big Tow!

An off-road course is a popular attraction for visitors at all Isuzu summer shows and this one is no exception.  The grand finale will feature Isuzu D-Max XTR owner, and former motorbike racing world champion, Carl Fogarty getting into some sticky situations as he demonstrates just how XTR is capable in the eXTReme on the ultimate off-road adventure.

But that’s not the only trial, as viewers can test their observation skills in an exclusive competition, Hide & Sheep, with a luxury prize up for grabs for the “best in show”.

The Summer Show by Isuzu will be broadcast on YouTube Live on Saturday 22nd August at 4pm.  Registrations are now open to the public at

Don’t worry if you can’t make the first viewing, simply register and Isuzu will send you a recording of the show to enjoy in your own time.
