Isuzu UK is proud to announce a new multi-year partnership with the Scottish FA as the Official Commercial Vehicle Partner for the Men’s Scottish Cup.
Isuzu UK, which already has partnerships with both the English Football Association (as the title sponsor of both non-league trophies) and the Irish Football Association, is strengthening its role as the driving force behind domestic football with this new relationship.
The second-oldest competition in association football, the Scottish Cup was first played in the 1873–74 season. The first final was played on March 21, 1874, at the historic Hampden Park, when Queen’s Park defeated Clydesdale to win. With 40 trophies under their belt—the most recent in 2020—Celtic has won the trophy more frequently than any other team. With 34 Scottish Cup victories, their Glasgow rivals Rangers are not far behind.
The Pick-up Professionals at Isuzu dealerships throughout Scotland will be actively supporting their local teams, and some have even begun planning local sponsorship agreements and promotional matchday activations.
